LD50 is the lethal doses of a drug that found in 50% of the test subject. If the LD50 is 1.5 g/kg , then the lethal dosage of the child would be:
lethal dose= LD50 * weight
lethal dose= 28lb * 0.
454kg/lb * 1.5g/kg= 19.068 grams
