At a sale on winter clothing, Cody bought two pairs of gloves and four hats for $43.00. Tori brought two pairs of gloves and two hats for $30.00. Find the cost of each.

This is an easy one!

Let's say gloves = x and hats = y (Assuming there's no sales tax!)

Equation for Cody = 2(x) + 4(y) = $43
Equation for Tori = 2(x) + 2 (y) = $30

2y = $13
So, y = $6.5 

Plug it back in to solve for x! (x = $ 8.5)
