How many solutions does the following equation have? 4 ( y − 30 ) = 4y + 12

This equation has no solutions. When ending the solving process, it will be found that there is no variable to solve for, making the equation invalid, since both sides will not be equal to each other. 

Stated again, there is no solutions to this equation.
