Infection of HIV can cause Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. The patient immune system is weakened so much that it prone to get infections from the weak pathogen. In this state, the immune system wouldn't be able to fight and suppress cancer cells, cause the patient also at risk of developing cancer.
