What is the difference between the Bohr model and the quantum mechanical model of the atom?

In the Bohr model- the electron was assumed to move in circular orbits. Wave mechanical model-the electron states are described by orbitals. Orbitals are nothing like Orbits.

Previous models described the motion of electrons the same way as the motion of large objects. The quantum mechanical model is not based on the exact path an electron follows around the nucleus
