Hello : let  A(-3,-1)    B(-6,8)
the slope is :   (YB - YA)/(XB -XA)
(8+1)/(-6+3)  =9/(-3)
the slope is: -3

the equation of the line, in point-slope form is : y - 8 = - 3(x +6)
