I personally think A because scholars are full of information, thus making them encyclopedic.
C also works though because auspicious means: conductive to success and visionaries usually are known as successful.
Sailors have nothing to do with tangents, that's math lol.
Dentists are not usually seen as having the utmost skill, thus they are not superlative.
