No, 4/10 is 0.40. Therefore, 0.45 is more

No, it is not correct.

 To compare this answer, do this.

[tex] \frac{45}{100} [/tex] is Jayne's 0.45 in fraction form.

If you simplify it you get [tex] \frac{7}{20}[/tex]

[tex] \frac{4}{10} [/tex]≠[tex] \frac{7}{20} [/tex]
