If (x -y)^2= 200 and x^2 + y^2= 50 what Is the value of xy?

[tex] (x-y)^{2}= x^{2} -2xy+ y^{2} \\ xy= \frac{x^{2} +y^{2}-(x-y)^{2}}{2} = \frac{50-200}{2} = \frac{-150}{2} =-75[/tex]
