Balanced chemical equation : It is defined as the number of atoms of each element present on the left side must be equal to the number of atoms of each element present on the right side in the chemical reaction.

The balanced chemical equation is,

[tex]MgCl_2+2AgNO_3\rightarrow Mg(N0_3)_2+2AgCl[/tex]

By the stiochiometry, 1 mole of magnesium chloride react with the 2 moles of silver nitrate to give 1 mole of magnesium nitrate and 2 moles of silver chloride.
