You divide a fraction by using the KCF method. KCF stands for Keep Change Flip. First, write your problem down. You keep the first fraction the same, change the division sign to a multiplication sign, and flip the fraction around. An example would be 1/3 / 5/8. You would keep the 1/3 how it was, change the / to x or •, and flip the 5/8 to get 8/5. Then, you multiply them together. (Use cross cancelation if necessary) You would do:

1 8
- x -
3 5

1 x 8 is 8 and 3 x 5 is 15 so you'd get 8/15.

Hope this helps!!
