Courtship or Mating Rituals are characterized by a display of body parts in many animals, such as vultures who hold their wings apart while perched on top of trees. Release of a scent meant to attract a potential mate is also characteristic of courtship and mating rituals. in most organisms this scent is caused by pheromones released into the organisms blood and sweat.
