Viruses are much, much smaller than prokaryotes. Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cellsare both alive, while viruses are not. Viruses have very few organelles, similar to theprokaryotic cells. They contain a plasma membrane, cell wall, RNA or DNA, and a protein capsule.
