Use the given function and domain to find the range. F(x)=1/3x+4

The range is {2, 4, 7}.

I got this by inputting each of the domain numbers into the given function as shown:

F(6)=1/3(2)+4
F(0)=1/3(0)+4
F(9)=1/3(9)+4

x is replaced by the numbers in the domain, including the f(x) part.  In any case, when you solve the problems above, the results are 2, 4, and 7 -- which constitutes the range of the function, or the set of all possible outputs.  The domain constitutes the set of all possible inputs for the function.
