u in (-oo:+oo)

2/3 = 4*u-5 // - 4*u-5

2/3-(4*u)+5 = 0

2/3-4*u+5 = 0

17/3-4*u = 0 // - 17/3

-4*u = -17/3 // : -4

u = -17/3/(-4)

u = 17/12

u = 17/12
