A square has 4 sides. They are all the same. So, I can use 'p' to represent the unknown perimeter:

[tex]4p = 292[/tex]

[tex] \frac{4p}{4} = \frac{292}{4} [/tex]

[tex]p = 73[/tex]

Each line is 73 centimeters long
