Given that,

An expression : (x – 4)(x - 7)

To find,

Expand and simplify.

Solution,

We have,  (x – 4)(x - 7)

(x – 4)(x - 7) = x(x) +(-7)(x) + (-4)(x) +(-4)(-7)

= x²-7x-4x+28

= x²-11x+28

Hence, the simplified form of the given expression is x²-11x+28.
