To start, we already know that 16 of the beads are red, so we can subtract that from 54.

54-16=38

Now, it says that the rest of the beads are 1/2 yellow and 1/2 green.

Divide 38 by 2 to get your answer.

38/2= 19

There are 19 yellow beads
