2(g - h)=b + 4

Use the distributive property on the left side:

2g - 2h = b +4

Add 2h to both sides:

2g = 2h + b + 4

Divide both sides by 2:

g = (2h + b + 4)/2

Simplify:

g =  b/2 + 2 + h ( note the order of h, 2 and b/2 can be different)
