Solve the equation for h means that we want to obtain only one h on the LHS (or RHS) but it has to be "alone"
We are starting with
[tex]A =\frac{1}{2}*b*h [/tex]             /*2
We can multiply both sides by 2 to reduce 1/2
[tex]2A=bh[/tex]     
Now we can divide both sides by b to takes b to the LHS, so
[tex] \frac{2A}{b}=h [/tex] - its our result
