Balanced equation for complete combustion of methane would be:
CH4 + 2O2 --> CO2 + 2H20

Amount of CO2:
22g / [12.0+2(16.0)]
= 0.5mol

Mole ratio can be represented as
CH4 = CO2

So 0.5 mol of CO2 = 0.5 mol of CH4 ??
