y = 9.25 just multiply 5 by .3 and add the 2 and subract that to find y

5 times 0.3 is 1.5.
20 minus 1.5 is 18.5.
18.5 divided by 2 is 9.25.
5(0.3) + 2(9.25) = 20

Y = 9.25
