A  sample of  water (H2O) has a mass of 1.0 g which is equal to 0.06 moles of H2O. TO calculate this, we use the relation of the molar mass which is for water is 18.02 grams / mol of H2O.

1.0 g
H2O ( 1 mol H2O / 18.02 g H2O) = 0.06 mol H2O
