The midpoint of this line segment would be (3.5, 3).

When determining a midpoint, you must take the average of each coordinate. We'll start with the x-coordinates.

(1 + 6)/2 = 3.5

And then the y-coordinates

(3 + 3)/2 = 3

This gives us the point (3.5, 3)
