If ∠A, and ∠B, are complementary angles and if m∠A =4x-8 and∠B =2x + 2, what is value of X?

"Complementary angles" means that sum of the angles = 90⁰.

m∠A +m∠B = 90⁰

(4x-8) + (2x +2) = 90⁰

6x - 6 = 90

2x - 2 = 30

2x = 32

x = 16
