Karena posisi matahari berada paling dekat dengan bumi.

Bintang lain mungkin jauh lebih besar dari pada matahari, namun jaraknya sangat jauh ( Bisa mencapai jutaan atau miliyaran tahun cahaya) sehingga akan terlihat sangat kecil.
