4 pound of oats twice a day= 8 pounds of oats each day per horse. He has 4 horses so 4 horses times 8 pounds of oats is 32. You multiply 32 pounds times the three days he has to feed which is 96 pounds.

Well if he has 4 horses and they each eat 4 pounds 2 times each day you would so 4x4 = 16 x 2 = 32 so 32 is how much they all eat in one day so if its 3 days 32 x 3 = 96 is your answer.
