Suppose that a tropical savanna the temperature was recorded every hour for 4 hours. The recorded temperatures were 27c, 28c, 29c, and 29c. Calculate the average temperature for this 4 hour period.

Add up all the temperatures and divide by 4.
113/4=28.25
 so if you need to round then 28.3 or just 28.
