The momentum of an object is given by
[tex]p=mv[/tex]
where
m is the object's mass
v is its velocity
For the car in this problem, m=1000 kg and v=25 m/s, therefore the momentum of the car is
[tex]p=mv=(1000 kg)(25 m/s)=25000 kg m/s[/tex]
